Daniel’s (Dan’s) professional experience involves selling and servicing of individual insurance and investment products, such as Long Term Care, Life and Disability in our Wealth Management division. Dan provides financial advice in the areas of insurance, investments, estate planning**, business succession planning, and retirement planning**. He has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial industry.

Dan graduated from the University of Minnesota with a M.A. in Industrial Relations in 1980, and he also received his B.A. in Political Science in 1977. Dan is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He is a Chartered Financial Consultant™ (ChFC), and is a Registered Representative of NFP Securities, Inc. and an Investment Advisor Representative of Financial Concepts. He is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).

Dan is a part of the University of Minnesota Mentorship program, and is also a member of the University of Minnesota Alumni Association. He received a recognition award from the Liberty Fund Executive Council in 2001 "for exceptional business practices and dedication to clients and their long-term investment needs." He was awarded New Agent Salesman of the Year from Cigna in 1990. He supports Defenders of the Wild Life and has been a member of the Walker Art Center for 15 years.
